Mission
AyudaTec promotes accessible technologies to provide educational opportunities for students with significant disabilities and all elementary age students in Latin American communities.
The AyudaTec Story
In 2006, the owners of IntelliTools, Inc., a successful assistive technology company, accepted an offer to buy the company. Led by Arjan Khalsa, Co-Founder and CEO, they decided to use some of the proceeds from the sale to help others. Mr. Khalsa has a life-long love for Latin America. He first visited
Guatemala and Mexico as a boy in the early 1960's and has returned often. He founded AyudaTec to provide literacy technologies to Latin America in order to directly help children and to make the case that governments should invest more in Latin American education for all students.
